From Football To Fashion: The Denver Broncos Are Stylin’

Created and Styled by Chelsea Magness, Sir and Sport Associate Fashion Editor

If one thing’s for sure, it’s that the AFC Championship game is on every true Coloradan’s mind this weekend. Peyton is back, but will that be enough to take on Tom Brady in the battle against the Patriots? Every fan in the Mile High City has their fingers crossed for our beloved Broncos, especially with Super Bowl 50 right around the corner. If you ask us, Manning needs to get in one more Super Bowl in order to retire with the ultimate amount of success, so why not now, right?

Speaking of success, they always say, “If you want to be successful, you must first dress the part.” Well, who would have known that saying applies to NFL athletes as well? Did you know that Sports Illustrated has named the Denver Broncos the “Best Dressed Team” in the National Football League? We at Sir and Sport couldn’t agree more.

The team has understandably earned this title by rocking suits that are just as daring as the players themselves. From the classic look of a single breasted gray suit to bold, colorful three piece ensembles, there’s no question the Denver Broncos have major game on and off the field.

Check out pictures from the team’s Instagram page below and see for yourself how the Donkeys deserve the label of best dressed. Don’t forget to learn how to dress like a player and get the MVP look yourself at the end of the post!

Denver Broncos Named Best-Dressed NFL Team

Every player has his own, distinct style, standing out from his teammates.

From left to right: Emmanuel Sanders, Peyton Manning, Demaryius Thomas, Von Miller. This is the perfect example of how to add in bright, trendy colors while remaining tasteful. Plus, nothing says “classy” like a three piece suit- well done Von Miller.

Emmanuel Sanders makes the audacious move with the double breasted sherbet jacket while Demaryius Thomas is dapper and timeless in the bold plaid suit.

Who says navy and black don’t go together? David Bruton Jr’s look shows how to stand out wearing muted tones.

David Bruton Jr. and Vernon Davis. Pattern-on-Pattern done right. This jacket with the large plaid and shirt with a tight, textured pattern is the ideal mix and match.

It’s not easy to pull of a purple tweed suit, especially if you’re a guy, but this guy was made for it. Nice touch with the lavender edged pocket square too!

Suave. Effortless, timeless, and completely striking.
