Tesla’s New Nevada Gigafactory Is Three Times Bigger Than Central Park
Thankfully, there should be plenty of cars to get around Elon Musk’s titanic Tesla Gigafactory that’s slated for completion out in the Nevada desert in 2020.
Let’s hope so, anyway, because it’ll be the world’s second-largest building by volume — three times the size of New York’s Central Park.
While there have been photographers haven’t been allowed inside the Gigafactory (one Reno photojournalist got arrested for being on the property), it appears as though Tesla has allowed commercial photographer James Lipman into its biggest project. Lipman has posted the first photos ever taken inside the Gigafactory on his Instagram account.
We just hope he didn’t have to walk the whole property.
