Hyde Park Jewelers Turns 40
Hyde Park Jewelers, one of the nation’s top 25 independent jewelers, announced today the celebration of its 40th anniversary. The company will commemorate its successful history by giving back to Denver–the city where it originated–with “40 Acts of Kindness.”
From its humble beginnings to being recognized as one of the nation’s top 25 independent jewelers, the company has seen significant growth and many changes. Founded in November 1976, with a 1,000 square foot store in Denver’s brand new Tamarac Square, Hyde Park now resides in its 10,000 square foot flagship store in Denver’s Cherry Creek Shopping Center and also has locations in Phoenix, Las Vegas and Newport Beach. Now with seven stores, Hyde Park plans to continue its growth and open additional stores in the future.
“Hyde Park would not be the jeweler it is today without the support of its local communities,” said Michael Pollak, CEO of Hyde Park Jewelers. “We have found that there is no better way to say thank you than to turn our successes around and dedicate time and resources to local causes and organizations.”
In its 40 years, Hyde Park has made tremendous philanthropic contributions in all four of its markets–most notably through Hyde Park’s Diamonds in the Rough Foundation, a foundation that has raised close to $1.5M for more than 50 charitable organizations. Additionally, Hyde Park has collaborated with its brand partners in each of its markets – Denver, Phoenix, Newport Beach and Las Vegas – to raise over $5,000,000 for local charities. The company has supported its employees who engage in community activities through contributions to various charitable organizations, and will now raise the bar higher than ever before and complete 40 acts of charity in Hyde Park’s 40th year, including:
- ● Contributing to the Denver Health Foundation/Pena Southwest Clinic Major Gift.
- ● Partnering with Girls Inc. on the Diamonds Do Good initiative.
- ● Providing sponsorship to the OCEANA Foundation.
