Then you burn it off with a 12-mile hike from Aspen to Crested Butte with the help of Aspen Expeditions, Aspen’s premier mountain guide service, who is on hand to explain the fauna and flora of the high alpine zone, and also provides snacks and lunch for the journey. It’s a one way hike with a return in an EC 130 Eco Star helicopter. On the 23 minute flight from Crested Butte to Aspen, you’ll fly over several of the most majestic mountains in the state of Colorado, including the Maroon Bells, Pyramid Peak, Independence Pass and the vast Continental Divide.
Upon return to the St. Regis Aspen Resort, guests are invited to relax and unwind after a day of hiking with a 50 minute customized massage in Remède spa.
