The Mother Ship
If a picture is worth a thousand words, well… then this one is apparently worth $250 million. Welcome to Bel Air, California, which, according to luxury developer Bruce Makowsky, is currently “home” to the most expensive domicile ever listed in the United States of America.
So what can the targeted billionaire demographic expect for this kind of investment?
Pretty much everything.
For starters…space. The mansion covers 38,000 square feet with the exterior decks alone accounting for 17,000. “This home was curated for the ultimate billionaire who wants the best of everything that exists in life,” Makowsky said in a release announcing the listing. “Until now, the ultra-luxury market was void of homes that even came close to matching the level of mega-yachts and private jets that billionaires spend millions of dollars on every year.”
Although that helicopter you’re seeing won’t be airborne for any missions. It’s been decommissioned and saw its last action in the 1980s hit TV show, Airwolf. But the cars work. All $30 million of them that can be found downstairs and come with the purchase of the estate.
Also inside, there are two master suites, 10 “oversized VIP” suites for guests, 21 bathrooms, three separate and fully equipped kitchens, and no fewer than five bars.
